I'm having a hard time locating just the drivers for a Ryzen 3600.
I keep getting redirected to links to download Adrenalin or Ryzen Master.
I don't want auto checkers/updaters, nor do I want overclocking/tweaking software.
I just want the basic drivers without the bloat.
The chipset/APU drivers are available from Gigabyte here: https://www.gigabyte.com/Motherboard/B550-AORUS-ELITE-AX-V2-rev-10/support#support-dl-driver-chipset
However, they are typically out of date compared to what is available directly from the manufacturer.
Where are the equivalent downloads directly from AMD -- https://www.amd.com/en/support ?
As an Aside, if I'm using a separate GFX card (NVIDIA GeForce), do I need the APU driver?
Solved! Go to Solution.
Choose Chipset > AMD Socket AM4 > B550
APU driver is for processors with graphics which you don't have, so don't need them.
Choose Chipset > AMD Socket AM4 > B550
APU driver is for processors with graphics which you don't have, so don't need them.
Thank you.
Exactly what I needed to know.
