I've been experiencing this for a few months now. My GPU will randomly artifact the screen and crash (lots of blue/red squares and freezing, monitor trying to boot again after a while, sometimes it resets, sometimes it crashes) ONLY when I try to play (certain) files on VLC and if I have firefox with the Hardward Acceleration setting running. I am using the latest AMD software and cleared up any NVidia software I had previously.
I also use the GPU to stream Dragon Age: Inquisition, render and stream and it runs just fine. Why is VLC such an issue with this?
