I am running Ubuntu 16.04 on a dual-boot MacBookPro 2017 and I want to run OpenCL 2.0 on an eGPU via thunderbolt 3 to a Sonnet Breakaway box. Can I assume AMD provides drivers for the Radeon Pro w9100 (32gb) when downloading OpenCL? Does anyone have experience with this kind of setup, i.e. will the driver see the external GPU?
