Reverse of the normal video driver problems (Linux vs. Windows)

So to make a long story short, I'm a Linux guy. That said, i also like Windows 10 and would prefer to run it for gaming on my franken-rig. I have Linux Mint working flawlessly with my current hardware setup but every time I've attempted to get Windows 10, 8 or 7 working on this machine, it doesn't matter what i do (and I've followed tutorial after tutorial to get it working), the driver for my RX570 will not work. I've tried letting windows pull the driver, getting the latest from the AMD website and using the automated install utility from AMD as well. I can get basic video for it, so i could use the machine if i like, but that's it. Games run like trash (Fallout 4 at 2-5 FPS on low, Skyrim at under 10 FPS on low). In Windows device manager it always shows with a little yellow error triangle on it. I've wiped Windows out to reinstall from a clean slate a few times, just to eliminate the possibility that i wasn't removing the wrongly installed driver properly.

In Linux Mint everything works out of box as normal (and that's what i've been running for about 6 months now). I can play about half my library in steam on Linux but the rest of it requires windows. I even have Skyrim running at native speeds (high to ultra at 40-60 FPS) in Linux through steam play but a lot of the windows titles don't work right in steam play yet.

Anyway. I'm here asking because I would like to be able to run Windows 10 on my PC to play some of those Windows only titles i've paid for. Here's a dump of LSHW command in Linux Mint so you can see my hardware setup.

My question is, has anyone else experienced this type of thing and if so, how did you resolve it?

Note: sorry if this is in the wrong area. First time poster.

Need to post your computer hardware & software specs  and versions currently being used.

Also do you have dual boot on your computer? One for Windows and the other for Linux Mint?

The hardware spec is dumped in the bottom of my original post. It's Linux Mint 19.1 with no dual boot as of now. I'm using no proprietary drivers. The open source drivers work flawlessly in Mint.

In Windows device manager it always shows with a little yellow error triangle on it.

What is the error message it gives you if you go into the device properties?
