I had this same problem and I am a RX 480 user.

The two fixes I know of are disable the Playerunknown''s Battleground profile in the Radeon settings.

The other fix is to update the driver to the experimental 17.8.2.

I hope that works for you

EDIT: The experimental 17.8.2 drivers added a few marks to the frame rate if that makes a difference in your choice.

Try to update to the new drivers 17.9.1.

If the problem persists you might need to remove the drivers using DDU (Driver Display Uninstaller), it's a third party software that removes entirelly any single file related to AMD drivers, very good stuff, usually solve many problems to users here.
Download: Official Display Driver Uninstaller DDU Download

Good luck!
