Radeon Settings is resetting and deleting my game profiles.
After installation game profiles look like in picture 1.
Then I add some games and turn on the FRTC - picture 2.
But when I restart the computer game profiles are reset and revert to picture 3.
Is there a way to turn off automatic game scanning in profiles so that they don't reset and dissapear?
I was not able to reproduce this behaviour on my system.
Can you using DDU to remove the AMD drivers? Perform a clean installation of 16.5.2.1, disabling your antivirus before you run the installer. Restart the system and see if the same behaviour occurs.
OK so:
I uninstalled everything via AMD Install Manager. Restarted.
Run AMD Cleanup Utility. Restarted.
Run DDU. Restarted.
Disabled AV. Run Crimson 16.5.2.1 installation. Restarted.
Set the custom game profiles. Restarted.
No go. Game profiles still being reset to default and deleted after each system restart.
Have no clue why.
Update:
Downloaded the latest 16.5.3 drivers.
Did a clean install.
Still no go. Still resetting.
Okay, please submit a full bug report here.
Already did.
Do you know where Radeon settings stores game profile information?
Because I've noticed that despite running AMD cleanup utility and DDU game profiles retain the 60FPS FRTC that was set in the previous drivers.
Maybe there's some kind of problem?
DDU removes everything on my system, including game profiles and FRTC settings. AMD Cleanup utility does not. This looks like an issue specific to your system.
