Edit: Turns out the card didn't like my ASUS monitor (with 1440x900 resolution). I swapped out the monitor for a different one, and now it works great!

I have a Gigabyte Radeon RX 550 2GB graphics card. I'm running Windows 7 64-bit. My motherboard is the ASUS Sabertooth 990FX.
I tried installing the latest driver, and after my comp reboots, everything is fine until after Windows finishes booting, and then the fan on the card stops spinning and I get no display once I'm in Windows. When I roll back to stock driver though, it works fine. Anyone know what the problem is? How can I fix this?
check you psu & cables most of the time its a simple overlooked thing. I had videocard issues till I checked the simple things first. Trust me I know been here done that cables & psu are the most over looked things around. I replace psus on a 2-3 year cycle as the quality these days are crap I have answered many of these forums already same issues.
