Radeon Pro Software for Enterprise 2020 Q2.1 Problems.

Problems.

(1). It will not install the 2020 Q2.1 drivers on a Radeon Pro DUO (Fiji).

(2) . If I only have Radeon GPUs installed, the Radeon Pro Software for Enterprise 2020 Q2.1 Driver now installs the Adrenalin 2020 GUI instead of Adrenalin 19.12.1 Style GUI.

Thank you so much.

One of the main reasons to install the Radeon Pro Software for Enterprise 2020 Q2.1 Driver is to get away from havng to use that awful Adrenalin 2020 GUI/UI.

(3). I managed to get the 2020.Q2.1 Driver installed on the Radeon Pro DUO by booting into Windows 10. Made sure the Adrenalin 2020 GUI/UI is closed. Used Windows Device Manager to install Adrenalin 2019 19.12.1 driver on the Radeon Pro DUO. After that I rebooted. Adrenalin 2020 GUI would not open. I then used  Windows Device Manager to install Radeon Pro Software for Enterprise 2020 Q2.1 Driver on the Radeon Pro DUO. I reboot and then I get this:

That is more like it.

Why does AMD continue to force this Adrenlin 2020 GUI/UI on it's Users.
Most people hate it.

If you are installing Pro Drivers on Radeon Cards you should get the Adrenalin 19.12.1 style GUI/UI with Watman Control.

Not Adrenalin 2020.

Workaround to get the Adrenalin 2019 19.12.1 GUI/UI with Adrenalin 2020 20.Q2.1 Drivers is to:
(1). Install 2019 19.12.1 first.

(2). Use Windows 10 Device Manager to point to the Adrenalin 2020 20.Q2.1 INF directory.

Then I get this with Radeon GPUs:

And this with a Radeon Pro GPU + Radeon GPUs:

It would probably be better to go with 20.Q1.1 instead of 19.12.1, as the more up to date settings would be more compatible with the driver

Yes maybe.
That does sound more sensible.
I just tried it from Adrenalin 19.12.1 because that is what was installed at the time.
Thank you.
