Hey guys,
after some testing with freesync I think there is a problem with radeon chill.
Everytime I use it my monitor turns black for 2-3 seconds randomly like 1-2 times while playing for hours. So its not frequently.
When I dont use it, the issue isnt there. So makes sense that I think there is a problem with it, huh? :-D
I use 2 monitors and only the monitor where the game is running turns black. After screen is returning, everything is still fine. No crashes.
Is happens in all games that I actually play which are:
Red Dead Redemption 2
Rocket League
Monster Hunter World
Before this card I used a Geforce GTX 1070. There wasnt that issue.
Windows Event Viewer has no entries at the time of black screen.
Setup:
(Updates, Drivers, Bios, Firmware is on latest version. Also did a driver reinstall while using DDU and tried all bios modes of that GPU)
Sapphire RX 5700 XT Nitro+
Windows 10 Home (64x)
AMD Ryzen 7 2700X
MSI X470 Gaming Plus
16GB RAM
2 Monitors:
Both Iiyama G-Master PL2730H
75Hz
Freesync enabled on both
Connected via DP
Changes cables, no difference.
Any ideas?
