The newest Radeon 22.8.1 drivers I downloaded to play Spider-man seem to be causing my Photoshop to crash when opening any file. The program crashes as soon as the colour picker appears.
I'm running the newest version of Ps. Originally, the 'GPU acceleration' box was greyed out in Photoshop options. I went into system settings and tried to force Ps to use the GPU. The box became selectable, however when selecting 'Use GPU acceleration', the program crashes. Rolling back to older drivers fixes the problem.
I have tried many things, and not sure what else could be the problem. No other programs seem to be affected negatively by the new drivers. All other Adobe programs I own work and use the GPU. All my games run just fine.
I have a 3700x and a Vega 56.
Does anyone have any other solution to this problem, other than going back to older drivers?
