After working normally for a few weeks, the Radeon software v20.8.2 began closing immediately a few seconds after I launch it.

Running sfc /scannow did not find any violations
Running DDU and then a fresh install of 20.8.2 produced the same problem.
Lengthening timeout settings in Registry and performing a clean boot did not help.
