Problem with RAID 0 array as C:\ drive - Chipset problem?

Is this a problem with X399 chipset drivers?

For extra (and noticeable) improvement in speed, I installed a RAID 0 array as the C:\ drive on two of my computers. This works well except when I attempt the following: utility apps are set to run before OS is loaded (i.e., chkdsk with repairs) and operations from the blue system repair screen (i.e., System Restore, Safe Mode), etc. Apps fail to open.

Even though drivers for RAID load as part of system UEFI boot, I think maybe there is problem accessing them in this mode. Can this be fixed so a RAID 0 drive will function as boot drive without these drawbacks? Or is there a workaround? Thank you. (Also sending this to Microsoft Feedback in case it is Windows 11 compatibility problem.)
