Phasmophobia crashes (for many with AMD GPUs)

Everytime I load up the game, it crashes after a couple seconds. Has nothing to do with any updates, I was playing normally yesterday and then it suddenly crashes. Have not been able to get passed the main lobby since.

Only happens to Phasmophobia.

Most people that have this issue own AMD GPUs.

I have tried everything the Phasmophobia discord tech support people suggested: reinstall game, chipset, drivers with ddu, force directx 10.1, move game from to C:, turn off vsync, etc.

Any actions/suggestions from AMD?

I’ve been having the same issue. It’ll work for a few minutes then the screen will go black and the fans ramp up while the game and audio continues until I do a hard restart.
