Performance issue in Darkest Dungeon since Adrenaline 22.7.X

Issue with the game title Darkest Dungeon (steam version) if you are using the latest adrenaline versions. This seems to be an OpenGL title.

Performance is fine if I downgrade the driver to 22.5.X or 22.6.1.

Adrenaline 22.7.X and later (22.8.2 tested) the framerate in-game may drop to single digits for example in town when character sheet is open, I have observed as low as 4fps.

This seems to be widely spread issue and I have seen many reports of this in the steam community pages.

The reworked opengl drivers may have issues with some games that use specific nv code.

Send a bug report, and/or post the issue in the 'Communities > Developers' section.

Figured something like that could be a possible cause.

I've already sent a bug report regarding this. I just wanted to post this information here in case some other unfortunate soul is wondering why their gameplay experience is effectively ruined in this title and is looking for a solution! 

I, for one, was searching here if someone else had a similar problem in this particular game.

Maybe that too is related to the hardware acceleration issue that afflicts July and August drivers. Dunno if darkest dungeon uses it in some way...

Still nothing,

tested on 22.6.1 - 8 fps (unplayable with every click)

tested on 22.11.2 - 40 fps (barely playable, 0 enjoyment)

 

rx6600xt, ryzen 5 5600, b450m, 16gb viper cl16 3000mhz

To think we're still having issues with 23.2.2...
