Performance decreased

Gigabyte X570 Aorus Pro, R5 3600, 3600 C18, RX 6600 XT

I'm not sure if this is related to the 23.2.2 drivers or not. Also, most recent chipset drivers and I have the most recent BIOS update.

Prior to updating the BIOS and updating the GPU drivers, Heaven benchmark and Time Spy both had higher scores.

I haven't been able to test the newest GPU drivers on my X570 Tomahawk, 5600x RX 6600 XT machine against the previous version, and this motherboard doesn't have the newest BIOS yet.

So I can only base this off the 3600 build. But has anyone else with similar specs noticed a decrease in performance? Either after updating GPU drivers or the latest BIOS for X570?

Yeah I got a small decrease in Heaven, but overall in games it seams better (more stable frame rate)

I'm using a 6700xt.

I've seen this in the past with a 5700 also, score decreased for 3 drivers in a row then went back up, but I really couldn't tell in games.

Ok cool, ty for your response!

Many people have been having problems with the latest chipset drivers. I would try an older version or the one supplied by your motherboard manufacturer and see if that fixes it.

I was on the latest chipset while having decent benchmark scores. It wasn't until after updating the bios to the latest version the performance decreased. Also, I had thought it was the newest GPU drivers, but someone else recently posted on reddit their benchmark scores decreased after updating the bios.
