Old thunderbolt 2.0 displays on new 6900xt (not bootcamp)(custom built PC)

I am coming from a Mac Pro 2013, and I have two old thunderbolt monitors that I would like to hook up to my new pc. The problem is that these monitors are not compatible with the parts that I have (Motherboard: MPG B550 GAMING CARBON WIFI, CPU: AMD Ryzen 5900x, GPU: 6900 xt). I bought a MiniDisplay Port to USB-C connector, plugged it into my graphics card and motherboard (at different times), and restarted my computer. The thunderbolt monitors do not have power buttons; they turn on when you turn on your computer. And nothing happened. Through the research I have done, it says I need specific drivers to make it compatible with my new computer, but I have not been able to find these drivers. Also, when I plug in the monitor, there is no notification on windows.
