Hello , I came across and issue when I changes my rx580 to a newly opened rx6600 that I got 3 days ago, I get a driver timeout error every time I try to start a game or benchmark . And I was wondering if someone can help me .
The stuff i tried to do to fix the issue:
Installed ddu and removed all the drivers and reinstalled them .
Installed the AMD clean driver tool
Update my bios
Update every driver in my pc
Update windows 10 to the newest version
Installed and uninstalled previous version of rx6600 drivers and the newest ones maybe like 10 times
Change my psu
Put the gpu on the lower pci slot
Reinstall windows
Change pcie auto to pcie 16
And my current specs are:
Ryzen 5 3600
Be quiet pure rock 2 black
Asrock b450 steel legend atx
Corsair vengeance rgb pro 2x8GB 2666MHz
be quiet! System Power 9 600 W 80+ Bronze Certified
WD nvme 1t ssd
Baracuda 500gb hard drive
Samsung 128gb solid ssd
Is it a case of driver issues or my pc just doesn’t want to work with my new gpu . I would hate to get a new gpu in this current state of the gpu market
