If/When I can find one in stock I plan on picking up a 6800xt or 6900xt. 

This will be my first discrete AMD GPU.

Any suggestions, thoughts, ideas, on being ready? I know how to tweak the NV Control Panel and my only concern is learning a new interface. 

Does the AMD software allow for overriding AA/AF and other features? Is there a PDF with instructions.

Na it's nothing you don't already know: install the driver and voila.  However, If this will be replacing an existing GPU, make sure to run DDU first.

Also, yes, the software lets you change that.  The interface also looks much better than the Nvidia Control Panel IMHO.
