My problem would be that I have a 144hz monitor to be more specific an acer xf240h and in the radeon driver it shows that it is not freesync compatible, why?

HD series were not compatible for freesync, the link is old article(can't find the newer one).

The 7800 series GPU's came out in 2012.  Freesync did not come out until 2014.
