My AMD overlay working fine ingame but not working in desktop win7 64bit?

I using win 7 64bit uefi-gpt. Cpu i7 4790k. AMD Graphic card rx470. AMD driver 18.7.1

Radeon overlay alt+r did show ingame but not desktop. hit Alt +r and nothing appear. installed Radeon Relive didn't help. window updated all patch even meldown patch.

how to enable overlay on desktop?

Hi,

Turn on a windows 7 64bit Aero Desktop theme and reboot you PC. See if that helps.

See: Fortnite crashes and I get "Display driver stopped responding and has recovered"

i reinstalled crimson driver and even win 7 about 20 times but no use. Radeon overlay never show on desktop

Are you trying to use the overlay outside of a game? Just a regular desktop?

As far as I know, Relive is used for games/applications and not for surfing the web....but, someone with more knowledge may offer some help.
