Good day!
I have the issue to install AMD graphic drivers inside virtual machine.
I've tried to setup a vm using thit article: https://support.citrix.com/article/CTX232830 but I stuck on step 3 "Log on to the VM and install the AMD guest driver..."
The problem is that vm recognizes gpu as ''Microsoft Basic Display Adapter" and when I install AMD drivers on the vm, driver updater freezes on detecting hardware. So, without gpu on the vm none of applications required gpu resources can start.
Stack of my environment:
-HPE ML350 Gen10
-AMD FirePro FirePro™ S7150 x2
-Citrix XenServer 7.6
I have access to vm using Remote PC Access. VDA version - 1808.2.0.19074
Hello,
we are experiencing the same issue. Setup:
ESXi 6.5 CU3
HP ProLiant DL380 Gen10
AMD Pro V340 Graphics Card
When trying to install the Guest-Drivers we are getting errors with Hardware Detection.
Customer is not able to use the very expensive graphics card... .
