Monitor not receiving a signal with DP cable

I recently got upgraded to a RX570 and everything worked finebut now my zowie XL2411P monitor gives a no signal message when i use a DP cable but when i plug in a HDMI it works again.

I've tried updating all the drivers uninstalling and reinstalling them. I tried different ports on the card and a different DP cable but nothing seems to work.

best would be to try HDMI or DP

DVI-D or DVI-I? also check your cable

somehow leaving the computer unpluged for a while fixed it kinda curious as to why this did anything if anyone knows
