Memory Running at 167Mhz in 3D applications ( 18.12.2 - Vega 56 )

I encountered a bug in driver 18.12.2, causing the memory to run at 167Mhz at all times. Normally, my memory is clocked at 1000Mhz both in min-state as in max-state.

This offcourse resulted in very low framerates ingame.

Another issue with the latest driver is that I get notifications in windows that a certain comatability check is offline, or that I have no internet connection, while I am connected to the internet. I even get the message while viewing YouTube videos.

I reverted back to 18.12.1.1 and no more issues or notifications in Windows.

PS: The auto-overclock does not work at all. It just made my system crash.

Yes, 18.12.3 seems to bring the memory clock back to normal. This says as much in the patch notes.

However. Once you install it, it will think that 18.12.2 is a newer driver. So you will need to install 18.12.3 manually as far as I can tell.

I went from 18.12.2 back to 18.12.1 then ahead to 18.12.3 ..Radeon™ Software Adrenalin 2019 Edition 18.12.3 Release Notes | AMD

I have the same issue here with vega 64, driver version 18.12.2, no matter what I do in manual, memory runs at 167MHz

Strange though. The focus of this driver were the Vega cards...

Yeah , guess they hurried to publish the driver

Which Vega cards do you both have?

Vega 64 sapphire blower, I had to revert back to version 18.12.1 to change the memory clock speed

Got the ROG Strix vega 64 OC, haven't had this issue, but my DP audio isn't working. Also get strange behavior when attempting to alter memory clock - Heaven crashes, hopefully they can bump an update, I might just have to revert.

Any driver issue should be reported to AMD > Online Service Request | AMD

Has there been a solution for this yet? I have the same issue with one of my VEGA 56 cards.

Are you guys sure 18.12.3 fixes the issue?

Adrenalin 2019 18.12.3 Vega56 wattman clock issues.

For me I'm seeing the behavior on both drivers 12.2 and 12.3. Maybe ill try downloading 12.3 again.
