Hi,

with newer amdgpu and amdgpu-pro drivers, a fresh Ubuntu 18.04 LTS installation goes to black screen, then loses display signal, before user login.

This can be resolved by going to recovery mode and amdgpu-uninstall the driver.

Tested driver versions

18.20 does not show this problem.

Any information on upcoming fixes or tweaks welcome.
