List of monitors that cause full memory speed with 5700 XT

So i will start

1920x1080 144hz AOC 24G2U with freesync enabled and 5700 XT -full speed[875mhz] memory when idle

Anyone else with AOC 24G2U having similar issues? Post your monitors, refresh rate, resolution and freesync setting.

Let AMD know how many people have this problem! It's expected behaviour supposedly, but some 1080p monitors running 144hz don't have this, while some 1080p running at 75hz have! There's no logical explanation for that, other than GPU/Monitor incompatibility, which should be listed by AMD. And yes it's incompatibility, GPU doesn't work as expected.

RX 5700 Red Devil

Acer Nitro VG240YU (WQHD, 75Hz)

Idle with 60Hz = 200 MHz

Idle with 75Hz = 1750 MHz !!

Same with Freesync on/off.

Unnecessarily more power consumption, heat and noise

PLEASE  FIX IT!!

RX 5600 XT

I don't have memory problem but i do have freesync problem with LG 24MK600 75hz monitor when playing fixed 60fps games.

The games will play at 60fps by fps counter but will perform at 40ish fps with freesync on. With Freesync off the performance is a little bit better but it's still not true 60fps. Doesn't happen in any unlocked fps games.

If the game plays at 60fps, how do you know how it performs? Why would freesync decrease your FPS?

The fps counter is 60, how do i know how it performs? Simple, i had rx 580 for almost two years i know how all my games should performs. Ever played any competitive fighting game? Even you'll notice if you losing 5fps. But it's worse i know it's just about 40fps even though the fps showing 60fps. If i turn off the freesync the gameplay will be a little better but still it sucks. Already a month without playing any fighting game is a torture for me.

I could change my monitor to my 60hz tv with no freesync and the problem is gone. So the problem of these 5000 series are revolving around 75hz monitor, vsync, freesync. You can google RX 5700 75hz problem and you'll find a lot of threads about this (It should be fixed by now for those rx 5700 and rx 5700 xt users but it still happens to my RX 5600 XT. Dunno.)

Why freesync decrease my fps? That's something that only amd could answer. Freesync in my rx 580 working just fine. Already sold it tho.

This stuff happens only with AMD!

Never did I ever had to do anything with Nvidia to just play a game.

So much troubleshooting since February 3rd that I bought the Saphpire Nitro+ 5700XT.

I mean AMD you advertise your 5700xt as the 2k best performance gpu and it cannot even run properly on 1080p at 240hz....
