My graphic is an ATI Radeon HD 4850 

So i'm playing an old game and i'm actually stuck at 60 fps and the problem is caused cause the Vsync.

I want to disable it but there is no software that i can use to disable it, i have searched on the AMD drivers web but there is no support anymore for this graphic (I know its old) but i remember using AMD RADEON SETTINGS Software that let me modify this settings on the GPU, but i cant find this software. Any help here? Or how to disable the Vsync?

try it with this driver

have in mind: some games FORCE VSync
also have in mind: some games are broken when they run faster than 60fps (like Witcher 3 does cool stuff at +100fps) ;)

Hi. Thanks for the answer.

The game im trying to use with more than 60fps is COD4 MW1 the old version.

I already installed the driver in the link that you give me, so the Catalyst Control Center is already installed on my PC (I think this is the software that will let me disable the Vsync) but now when i try to run the CCC im getting an error that "there is no settings to aply with Catalyst Control Center"

I dont think the problem is with the driver as i have the last update i can have cause i know its a legacy driver and the only support i can find is on windows updates, but i already checked that my driver is on the last version available.

So what im looking for is the software that will let me look over the settings of the GPU and let me disable the vsync.

to disable VSync there are 2 ways:

1. the game allows to disable it in its settings
2. you force it over the driver!

if your CCC makes problems:

1. disable Win10 auto-driver-install && delete the C:/AMD/WU or C:/AMD/WU-CCC or C:/AMD/WUCCC2 folder
2. update Win10 to 20H2
3. download DDU and run it in safe-mode (need reboot)
4. reboot and install the "non-gcn 16.2.1 beta"-driver i posted here
5. reboot again and open CCC
6. go to "advanced" - "3D" and force "vsync always off"
