You really need to clarify your question with your computer information and exactly what is happening or not happening with your HP VR set.

Check Device Manager and see if your VR Set is recognized or there are any errors showing.

Make sure you have the latest HP VR drivers installed if applicable.

Check your HP VR Manual to see if it has any pointers about your problem.

When you run Windows Mixed Reality utility does it pass or are there any errors showing. If it shows errors or Failed that is probably why your VR set is not working.

Does your computer meet the minimum Hardware requirements: https://support.hp.com/us-en/product/hp-reverb-g1-virtual-reality-headset-copperbq/28341578/document...

By any chance did you install a Plastic Tubing on the VR's cable that came with your VR headset?

If you did that could be the problem according to HP Support on this article: https://support.hp.com/us-en/product/hp-reverb-g1-virtual-reality-headset-copperbq/28341578/document...

The above article came out in December 18, 2020 saying basically that if the customer installed the plastic  tubing it might and can damage the VR headset cable.

Just got an brand new 6900xt . Wanted to play MS Flight Simulator with it in VR. But for me it is not working... ERROR 13-14 (unable to start 90hz mode) and the display is black. When I start in 60hz mode the tracking is working but screen is also black (shows 640x480 resolution in options ) .. HP Reverb G1 in use. Very sad .. switched from a rtx2080 super .. when I put the rtx in , it is working just fine. any other Solution for that ? testet the thing with the drivers but no luck for me

i9 9900k

32gb ram

6900xt /rtx2080 super

also deinstalled every nvidia treiber when i testet it ..

Found this previous  AMD Forum thread concerning the 6xxx GPU card and your HP Reverb not working. The User found a solution: https://community.amd.com/t5/graphics/6800-xt-and-windows-mixed-reality-hp-reverb-not-working/td-p/4...

There is only one 6900XT AMD Driver with plenty of Known Issues : https://www.amd.com/en/support/kb/release-notes/rn-rad-win-20-12-2-rgb

Here is the driver that is mentioned in the Fix above but not shown in the Official AMD Driver Download page: https://www.amd.com/en/support/kb/release-notes/rn-rad-win-20-12-1

If neither of the above AMD Driver fixes your issue than open a AMD Service Request (Official AMD SUPPORT) and make them aware the same issue is happening with the 6900XT GPU Cards as it did with the 68xx series GPU Cards from here:
