Help with the new 18.7.1 - Second Screen now stuck in 640x480 unless i roll back driver to 18.6.1

Since installing version 18.7.1 my second screen is stuck in 640x480 resolution and can not be changed, however when i roll the driver back to 18.6.1 everything runs fine, is there a way of fixing the problem as the 18.7.1 update helps performance on games i play but i cant have my second screen permanently stuck at 640x480 my current graphics card is Graphics Chipset AMD Radeon (TM) R9 Fury Series.

Please help!

As a possible workaround have you tried updating with the affected monitor disconnected ?

Thank you for your help, apparently the fix was changing my cable from a HDMI to a DP cable and now both screens run fine again.!
