HD 6870 with Crimson installed - Updates try to reinstall Catalyst. Why?

Every day I'm asked to install Catalyst. Crimson is working fine and it's a later version. When I click the update button, it tries to install Catalyst, latest version. Is there a good reason for it trying to revert to Catalyst? If not, how can I just make Crimson wait for the next Crimson version instead of trying to revert to Catalyst?
