graphic corruption after alt tabbing out of game

Hi.

I just updated my drivers for AMD Radeon(TM) Vega 8 Graphics (Primary/intergrated/ Hybrid) on my laptop (Acer Nitro 5) and now everytime I tab out of a game the picture gets all messed up.

Does anyone have a solution for this?

If you are using the latest(20.9.2) I'd recommend going back to 20.8.3 for now. I've seen a quite a few people having this issue on the new drivers, & also have had it myself. It completely went away when I went back to 20.8.3 so I'm staying there until the next driver comes.

Should probably send a report in to AMD too using the bug report tool in the driver software(upper right corner) too.

Hi. Thanks for the advise but it didn't work for me. I installed 20.8.3 again but the issue remains.

Tried again with update 20.8.2 at that one seems to work for me.

I have a 5700XT so that might explain why 20.8.3 worked for me. I just know I've seen quite a few posts of corruption, flickering, & other similar issues on 20.9.3. =\
