Can you try enabling GPU Scaling under Radeon Settings > Display and then try to restart and test to see if the error reoccurs.
This is EXTREMELY infuriating , as I just come home from work and wanted to play a game.

Describe your issue:
If i close my PC , there is a good chance the next time i start it , video games ( all of them ) would not work.

Check that your graphics driver is working properly.
I always run @ native resolution 1080p with medium - high settings.
The solution i have found is to mindlessly restart the computer and start a game until it works . Then i have no problem.
Can you try enabling GPU Scaling under Radeon Settings > Display and then try to restart and test to see if the error reoccurs.
Weird thing , I had my pc shut down then saw your message.
I started it , run Factorio , it gave me the error , and then after i enabled GPU Scaling it allowed me to run it.
But i remember i had GPU Scaling before and it gave me the same error , then i read on the forums this might be the problem and disabled it ( Don't trust my memory though ) .
Can you explain why this is working ?
At this time no, but it's something I'm looking in to.
Thank you !
As long i can get my fix on games , i'm alright
Please try updating to Crimson 17.6.1 and see if this fixes the issue.
When i get home , will switch from GPU Scaling on to off.
I've been playing for a couple of days now , and the problem didn't occurred again .
Think the bug is solved.
