Frequent Driver Timeouts after 20.12.1

Hello everyone,

I recently updated my Adrenalin driver to 20.12.1. Immediatly after, my screen hung and went black, without recovery. I had to force reset. Now, after this update, I get driver timeouts like this every day, mostly even more than 2 times a day.

My GPU is an RX580.

Further specs:

Ryzen 5 2600, ASRock b450m, Patriot Viper RGB 2133Mhz Ram, 500w Bequiet PurePower 11

Do you have any help regarding this? What should I do to fix this?

Thank you.

Jannik

-1. update Win10 to 20H2
0. disable Win10 auto-driver-install
1. run DDU in safe-mode and clean driver
2. download latest driver from AMD (dont use auto-detect) && install it
3. test again

Im having the same problem here but with the radeon 5600xt i cant play a single game because 20 minutes in the computer would freeze then shut down then it will turn on again but with a tab saying drivers have timed out.
