Freesync with eGPU and Xconnect

Hi. I just bought a new monitor with freesync. Samsung S34J550.

I have a Lenovo Yoga 920 laptop.

My eGPU is connected with thunderbolt 3 and my video card is MSI RX580 8 GB.

I have installed newest driver and software.

The eGPU is automatically connected with Xconnect.

When i try to open the AMD settings software, it just disappear with no error message. I'm therefor not able to activate freesync.

Is is possible to have freesync enabled when using  eGPU?
Should I be able to open AMD settings software when connected with Xconnect?

Well.. hehe. The sceen has 2 HDMI input. I did not know that the inputs had different version..

1 HDMI with version 1.4 and 1 HDMI with version 2.0.
I switched to the other HDMI input port (2.0) and now the system works great!

AMD settings software started and i got freesync enabled.
