I cant remember when this exactly started happening somewhere between 1 and 3 weeks ago. Every time i turn my desktop back on the frame rate target gets set to 60.

using version 18.3.2.

the game profiles are saved and keep their assorted settings but do not override the 60 fps cap when i launch a game and forget this change exists on boot.

nothing is overclocked

6700k

rx480 reference, watercooled

16gb lpx ram

i dont have any monotoring utils installed and on startup

I have had the same problem. Mine would even reset when I went to the game profile.  A clean install did the trick > Clean Install AMD Graphics Drivers

i have done that multiple times with ddu with no change, i will try amd's cleaner by tomorrow and see if there is any difference

clean installs didnt help it still boots up like this

and sometimes resets to 60 randomly

Man I'm out of suggestions.....maybe someone else has a idea. I would contact AMD using this link, and explain the issue as you have here > Email Form
