Flight Simulator low fps

Hello everyone I have a problem with my flight simulator game since sometimes I am playing with stable fps and sometimes anywhere the fps drops too much to such a degree that they reach 3 fps to 1, I also noticed that when this happens the gpu is only being used at 37% and the cpu at 45% I have an rx 6700xt and an intel i 5 9400f I hope your help thanks

Do you have the High Performance graphics assigned to the app/game? That is handled by the Microsoft OS. Go to your computer 'display' setting and scroll down to 'Graphics'.

I already follow the steps you told me but it still doesn't work. I think it would probably be the amd drivers or I wait for amd to solve this problem by means of a driver update to solve it or what else could I do?

Are you sure you chose the .exe file and not the 'launcher'?

Hello friend, here you can see in the image that if it is .exe, what else can I do so that this does not happen anymore

That looks correct....do you have the computer power plan set to 'high performance'? Default is 'Balanced'.

Sometimes when installing drivers, people allow "User Experience' program...this can cause intermittent issues like you describe. Check in the control panel and if it is active...'leave it'...then reboot your computer.

This appears to me that I should do so. I leave it or leave it like this, the high energy consumption program if I have it activated. If you have any other way to solve this seriously I would appreciate it.

Right now I just tried the game and it continues to give me those low fps also they are not occupying the resources of the gpu and neither of the cpu the maximum that I get to use was 70% of the gpu and it goes down giving like 35% I occupy your help if someone knows about this.
This photo is for you to see that I have updated all the drivers.

Has the app ever performed at a higher rate? Or has it been like this through different drivers? Has it ever played correctly....

Yes I have gotten to play quite fluent but at the moment I did not play above 50 fps with a rx5700xt rog strix and right now that I have the rx6700xt this has been happening to me

Look friend I found this page looking for the problem that you say you think is the optimization of the game or it is flatly amd's fault, there will be no way for amd to contact the game developers so that everyone who uses video cards amd have no problem I am only suggesting or you that you think I should do.

See if you have this Windows Update installed which is causing severe gaming issues including large drop in FPS in games: https://www.pcinvasion.com/microsoft-windows-10-update-gaming-performance-issues/

If this problem only occurs with just one game than I would wait to see if either Microsoft Patch update or AMD new driver update will fix the problem

Also make sure your Windows is fully updated. But if you have that specific Windows  Update installed see if you can Temporarily uninstall it and see if it fixes your problem. If it doesn't then reinstall the Windows Update again.

Hello friend, I already have the updated one, but when I want to uninstall it, the update does not appear, someone knows how else I tried the flight simulator 2020 and it gives me 13 and 18 fps, this is unplayable.

It seems like you can't uninstall that Windows Update, at least from Control Panel.

I check my Windows Settings in under Windows Update Installed it shows I have KB5001330 successfully installed but when I check to see if I can uninstall that specific Windows Update it doesn't show up as one of the updates that can be uninstalled. The same like yours.

Found this old Microsoft Forum thread (2014) using Command Prompt to uninstall a Windows Update not listed in Control Panel: https://answers.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/forum/all/uninstall-an-update-that-is-not-listed-in-the/...

If the above doesn't work then I would open a post at Microsoft Flight Simulator Forum and Support to see if it is a AMD Driver issue or a Game that needs to be patched by Microsoft.

Make sure you have all the latest Flight Simulator patches installed.

No friend still does not work, see I send you this photo playing so you can see how little gpu is used and the fps so low that it really gives me this is unplayable when I want to land the plane is worse for me.
He does not let me put the image because it is very high in weight

I agree 15 FPS is really very low for a game like Flight Simulator.

I would open a Support ticket with Microsoft Flight Simulator and see if they have any latest Patches that might fix that problem.

Here are all of MS Flight Simulator Patches from their website: https://www.flightsimulator.com/category/development-updates/

Seems like the problem is with the game itself from the latest Patch update: https://forums.flightsimulator.com/t/suffering-with-poor-fps-after-todays-update-please-submit-a-tic...

It mentions to submit a Ticket to inform them of the low FPS problem.

This is a very long Microsoft Forum issue concerning the low FPS in Flight Simulator: https://answers.microsoft.com/en-us/xbox/forum/xba_wowpc-xba_gowpc/microsoft-flight-simulator-2020-l...

Thank you very much friend, really see what happens see if amd gives priority to this since I think I am not the only one having these problems, because I have seen that they also put better fps in games see if this is the case that amd pay attention to me because I have a strong medium pc which specs are:
rx 6700xt 12gb nitro saphire
intel i 5 9400f
16gb ram
Really i bought this pc to be able to enjoy this game since since 2020 this title of the video game caught my attention too much with exploring the world and now I realize that I could not do it: c
I hope that amd or flight simulator 2020 will listen to me because I am not the only person.
Thanks to everyone who was helping me
this link is from another forum with the same problems in the same link there are some videos but they have not worked here is the link:
