Drivers problem Radeon R9 295x2

hello i have a big problem with the drivers

I deal with mining.

https://hiveos.farm/  system and you have software Ubuntu 16.04.5 LTS

have installed these drives here

the problem is that when I get 3x 295x2  and 1x Radeon R9 290

i have  lot stuck  in 290

I'm trying to see which drivers are compatible with the 295x2 and  290

can anyone tell me which version to download do not have problems please

Hi,

Can you post your computer specs?  What motherboard?  How many GPUs and type of GPUs are you are running?

Does it run with just one 295X2 in the motherboard?

Thanks for the specs. If one 295X2 is OK then the problem is probably the motherboard/bios/memory, not the drivers.  I don't do mining but I use 10x 295X2 running in 3 computers for computation. One MB runs 4x 295x2 for 8 GPUs no problem.

One reason that 6 or 7 GPUs can  fail is because the BIOS's Above 4G setting is off.  Each GPU uses a lot of IO mapped memory space (this is space, not real memory). The MB tries to put all that mapped memory below the 4GB address but can't with too many GPUs i.e., 3X 295X2. Then it fails. When I turn on my MBs Above 4G setting then no problem.

You can see all the motherboards IO mapping by typing sudo cat /proc/iomem in the Ubuntu terminal window.

On some MBs you may need other settings. The good news  is your motherboard has these settings. Here is a discussion from the ASROCK website about the H110 PRO BTC+ :  H110 Pro BTC+ Cannot boot with more than 9 GPU - ASRock Forums - Page 1

the problem  now is.

when doing mining for some hours or for one day. where they are all fixed and I have 7gpu.

it suddenly stops working a gpu of 295x2..

this I can not understand why it does
