So I've had this problem for months now waiting for it to possibly be fixed but I just stopped waiting. For some reason if I update my drivers over version 19.1.1 all my games have tremendous FPS drops and is just impossible to play on, I was forced to revert the update to be able to play but at the same time I want the new updates but I can't because it just gives me horrible FPS while playing anygame even the AMD software starts lagging.

If you are having issues like you mention, I would go the DDU route to cleanly wipe all drivers, then install the new version to eliminate the possibility that some old amd driver is left over. Also, you want to turn off hardware updates in windows (which i think you can only do with the pro version), so that windows does not automatically install the latest after rebooting and before installing the intended driver version.

What version of win 10 are you running? You can get that by running "winver".

I tried using DDU but it didn't work, I'm using window 10 home.
