Trying to get this 6800 running in ubuntu 18.04, as the title says using amdgpu-pro-21.30 driver, as soon as I modprobe the driver it crashes/hangs the system. No errors were reported during the driver install.
If I switch in an RX5700XT, the (same) driver loads fine so there is something relating to this 6800 GPU... however, the 6800 has been tested in a Windows test bench so the card is OK... back to driver issues then...
I've heard talk of some reset bug on linux re AMD GPUs... this might be related?
Not sure what to do next... any suggestion is greatly appreciated.
