Driver 22.10.3 issue?

The strangest thing...

I have this PC I just put a new hard drive in with w10 64, B550 chipset, Ryzen 3600, Radeon 5700, 32gb ram, nothing out of the ordinary.

I change fan curve on GPU and the drivers keep crashing after a few hours.

Base clocks on everything, nothing changed in software or bios.  just loaded xmp profile and booted OS and changed fan curve on GPU.

All temps really good, nothing is over 70c

If I remove Radeon software and just run afterburner to get fan curve set right, it never crashes.

What gives?

The key word I see in your post is...Afterburner.

Afterburner and other third party graphics controllers can conflict with AMD settings. If you delete it...which is the only way...disable doesn't work...be sure to select 'return to default settings' before you do it.

Then use AMD for settings.
