Hi guys, since i switched to AMD i am having a problem that before i also had with intel, basically: .: When I play GTA V I have a drop in fps for a moment (from 60 to 35 fps) which creates a really annoying lag, the annoying and frustrating gaming experience does it every 2 minutes ... When I had the i5 9600K I solved by deactivating the Link Power Management with Intel Rapid Storage Technology, because I practically realized that the disk, (I have the games installed on a WD Caviar Blue 1 TB) at the time it was the drop in fps was as if it went into suspension, in fact from the task manager it increases the latency time and you really notice ... Now with AMD how can I disable this function? I have not found any software and from bios I can not find the entry to disable these settings on the chipset... my configuration is:

This could be the solution:

Step one: add these 2 registry keys to registry (copy to notepad and save as .reg extension and add to registry):

a) [HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE \ SYSTEM \ CurrentControlSet \ Control \ Power \ PowerSettings \ 0012ee47-9041-4b5d-9b77-535fba8b1442 \ 0b2d69d7-a2a1-449c-9680-f91c70521c60] "Attributes" = dword: 00000002

b) [HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE \ SYSTEM \ CurrentControlSet \ Control \ Power \ PowerSettings \ 0012ee47-9041-4b5d-9b77-535fba8b1442 \ dab60367-53fe-4fbc-825e-521d069d2456] "Attributes" = dword: 00000002

Step Two: In configuring the power options ** (in the control panel) go to Change plan settings for the power plan you are using (for example, high performance) and click Change advanced power settings. Once there, under the Hard Drive option put a) AHCI Link Power Management to "Active", and b) AHCI Link Power Management - Adaptive to "0 milliseconds", And c) under the PCI Express option change Link State Power Management to "Off". No reboot required.

 could this be the solution? By enabling that parameter AHCI Link Power Management could i damage the SSD? (I have both a HDD and SSD)
