Conflict between AMD and Java

I'm trying to run the offline client of Soapbox Race World (Need For Speed World), which runs on Java 8 update 271.

https://soapboxrace.world/

The game starts when it wants, most of the time it will crash or freeze at the loading screen, and when it actually does start, it will crash a few minutes into gameplay.

I'm running a Radeon GX 6800, on Adrenalin 23.2.1 drivers.

I can confirm it's related to AMD drivers, as this does not occur with other GPU drivers in which I've tested this program. Please help!

Thank you very much in advance!

This persists in the 23.2.2 driver, and it's driving me insane.

Try opening a AMD SUPPORT Ticket and see what they say: https://www.amd.com/en/support/contact-email-form

But it would be helpful to know your computer information plus the errors you are getting when the games crashes.

Run DXDIAG.exe and save the file. Then open it to the last category "Diagnostics" and see which files are actually having issues in your PC.

It may not be related to Java but to some other issue unless the game you are running is not 100% compatible with the JAVA version you are using.

NOTE: This a User to User forum and not AMD SUPPORT which I posted the above link to.

I've just got around to saving the DXDIAG.exe file, and here is the link.

Still trying to work this out, contacted Support but as I go through the process, any help here will be most welcome also.

I'm still trying to work this out, I went through Support and they told me to update my BIOS, reseat my GPU, try an earlier driver, and none of it worked. After this they told me to file a bug report, which I have done.

But this issue still persists and no one knows what to tell me.
