cimmanifest.exe corrupted, BSOD issues with switchable graphics

Have been having an issue with drivers on my laptop since I got it. I have an HP Probook 450 G1 that uses switchable graphics between the Intel and 8750M that is onboard.

Recently calmed down with BSODs after the 15.12 release but now they are back. Usually an IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL_TO error which can be triggered randomly while on battery power (the problem doesn't happen when the computer is plugged in) or when the computer wakes up from sleep when the lid is opened. Now the message in the photo started popping up saying cimmanifest.exe is missing or corrupt. I have tried fresh installs of both drivers and using only the HP driver packs but nothing seems to make these two play nice together. Any ideas?

I would recommend making sure that you Visual C 2013 files are installed and fully up to date via Windows update.

Are you using the Crimson drivers provided by AMD or HP? I would recommend rolling back to the last stable driver for your system and you can report the issue here.
