I have a radeon HD 6950 and when I did the upgrade to 15.7.1 driver the sound from the HDMI output just disappeared. I downloaded the driver again removed the driver and installed again and gave the same problem. I decided to download the driver again and repeat the procedures and the problem persisted. The problem was only solved after installing amd-catalyst-15.7-with-dotnet45-win7-64bit version of the driver.I use windows 7 SP1.
I would like to know also. I have a 1440p monitor also with dual-link dvi and dont have VSR option for it. I have been running a 4k monitor with my 280x crossfire also and it works so i dont understand why ray said that 2560x1440 is the max supported resolution.
Please read my posts once again.
"HD6320 in integrated graphic in E-450 mobile APU
APU -> Mobile APU -> E-Series APU - Windows 10 in unavailable. Same for Auto-detect tool"
Read what I posted
""Yup...available for desktops only...
You can try to install them..it's your only shot""
The mobility drivers should work...maybe.
Anyhow good luck.
Ray can you confirm if the first generation APU's ( E series ) meet the requirements for Windows 10 or not?
Sorry for bumping, but allow me to say that the Catalyst 15.7.1 are WHQL/ digitally signed by Microsoft, as "dxdiag", "device manager" and GPU-Z quickly confirms it for me on Windows 10 64bit.
Not that it actually makes any big difference anyway, performance-wise.
The HD 6320 is a rebranded 4330 and is Terrascale 2 based, so it should not be supported in Windows 10.
AMD Radeon HD 6320 - NotebookCheck.net Tech
It is based on the same graphics core as the ATI Mobility Radeon HD 4330 but without any dedicated memory.

Just updated to 15.7.1. Have completely lost sound through my TV. TV works with other devices and headset works (it plays even when the TV is selected as the Playback device). Tried running a 'Test' on the TV and it reports it's in use by another program. Just in and all I want is a movie before bed, where can I find previous, working, drivers (prblem did not exist until update).
Please tell me a revamped CCC and optimized package size are in the works...Maybe something streamlined, not based on .NET, and doesn't weigh in at 285MB. If nVidia can do it in 160MB, then why can't AMD? Plus CCC on a tablet, yea, no...
And can I mention stand alone CAPs or are those four letter words still?
I have been running a 4k monitor on my 280x crossfire setup. So why can't we get VSR on our 1440p monitors to downsample the higher resolutions?
