Can't Get Drivers for AMD Radeon HD 6450

Hi,

I have an HP tower that I bought in 2017 that came with an AMD Radeon HD 6450. Because of a now-corrected problem I removed the card and temporarily used the motherboard builtin display adapter. I put the card back in and it apparently works fine, but when I boot I get the message "No AMD graphics driver is installed, or the AMD driver is not functioning properly. Please install the AMD driver appropriate for your AMD hardware." I go into the Device Manager and click update drivers for the card  and it says they are up to date. I go to the AMD support page, download and run AMD Auto-detect, and get "Error 182 - ... configuration is not supported". On the same page I find the card, click submit, and then download, install, and ran "Catalyst Software Suite rev. 15.7.1 WHQL". In that program I click "Check for driver updates", and wonder of wonders it runs MS Explorer viewing the same support page I started with!

I know the card is old, but is this really the best AMD can do to provide drivers?

Do I need to update my drivers or not? If so, how?

Thanks,
Mike

These are the last drivers for that card...there will be no more. If it's running leave it alone.

generally with older out of support hardware .. Windows usually does a fair job of providing drivers for the device .. especially a Radeon HD 6450
