I get installation failed. I forced removed older chipset driver and removed AMD folder but still get this

At the end of the log File it shows error 1603 for the failure of the Chipset from installing.

I would first try and download the Microsoft Installer/Uninstaller app and uninstall the AMD CHIPSET. Then see if the new Chipset will install correctly.

in the above link there are several "fixes" to those having error 1603.

thanks removing old chipset driver with ms trouble shooter then install new one worked. I dont know AMD installer programmer has very low skills

Yes, the MS Installer/Uninstaller does seem to work for some Users with error 1603.

I believe the MS App removes some previous Windows Registry entries concerning the previous CHIPSET installation that are causing conflict with the newer version being installed.

What worked for me was uninstall the current version.  Reboot.  Install the current Windows Update version.  Reboot.  Install new AMD release. Reboot. 

It kept throwing up a new Window with an error in 3 or 4 files when I originally tried to install, and my search on the error brought me here
