Can not detect my second graphic card

Hello there my fellow friends,

so I've had problems with my laptop in the past few years so I thought I'd just come up to you guys and seek for some help from the experts.

I have a Lenovo laptop, G50-45,

Processor: AMD A4-6210 APU with AMD Radeon R3 Graphics 1.80GHz[That's what it says on the Properties of the computer though].

and another graphic card, Amd Radeon(TM) R5 M330

I've tried installing different versions of AMD Adrenalin to find the right drivers, but I haven't found anything that actually helps me out.

I used to have 3GBs of graphic on Rainbow Six siege when I had Windows 8.1,

but now that I've upgraded my windows to Windows 10, I'm getting 1 gb's of graphic only.

Which means only the AMD Radeon R3 is working and R5 isn't working at all,

I've tried setting the graphic settings on windows system settings, but there was no R5 in the option list unfortunately, and I've tried other games like GTA V, and I'm getting the same 1GBs,

I've downloaded the drivers manually from both lenovo and AMD websites and installed them before too, but they didn't work either, so I thought I'd come up to you guys and see if anyone's got a solution for me, because it really bugs me to actually have 3gbs of graphic but having acess to 1gb only.

I'd appreciate any help if you could tell me how to actually use the whole 3gbs

if not, just tell me how do I make the R5 my primary graphic card so I'd have 2gbs instead of 1.

Thanks a lot, Vega.

Re: Can not detect my second graphic card

1. download chipset drivers from OEM
2. go to powerplan and use "maximized performance" on gpu settings in powerplan
3. go to "graphic settings" in windows and for dGPU on your game

PC: R7 2700X @4.1GHz + RX 580 4G (1500MHz/2000MHz CL16) + 32G DDR4-3200CL14 + 144hz 1ms FS P + 75hz 1ms FS
Laptop: R5 2500U @30W + RX 560X (1400MHz/1500MHz) + 16G DDR4-2400CL16 + 120Hz 3ms FS

Okay I'll download the drivers from the OEM again and I'll let you know about the results.

okay so I've just downloaded and installed the graphic and video driver from the lenovo website itself, did what you said(The plan was on maximized performance already) and went to the graphic settings on system settings but I still have the same R3 on High performance on the graphic settings, any idea what's wrong? I've also launched the game but it still couldn't recognize my second graphic card unfortunately, I'm really clueless what else to do...

Re: Can not detect my second graphic card

mh,

1. disable win10 auto-driver-install
2. delete C:/AMD
3. use DDU in safe-mode to clean old AMD driver
4. install 20.12.1 and test again; if not working do 1.-3. and install OEM GPU Driver first - reboot - and install 20.12.1 over OEM
