Hello, Just a couple minutes ago I was attempting to install a "newer" version of the current driver of the Radeon HD 7600M in hopes in helping in graphics so I could run Valorant smoothly on Windows 10. However, after the installer prompted me to reboot the system, I did so, and in return, I was immediately greeted with a BSOD with an error under the name "INTERNAL POWER ERROR"
In addition, I attempted to boot into safe mode by pressing F8 and the laptop immediately beeped for a good 30 seconds before it stopped.
Here are some information about the laptop I know:
HP Envy 4
8GB DDR3, Intel i3 4th Gen with the 7600M on it.
For more information, heres the exact driver I downloaded and installed to. The website its hosted on is unofficial and does leave for suspicion:
Hello,
Given the chance, I'd suggest using the AMD Cleanup Utility @ https://www.amd.com/en/support/kb/faq/gpu-601#faq-Overview
Always go to AMD's website for for AMD drivers @ https://www.amd.com/en/support
I generally keep chipset drivers, chipset drivers and my most common software on a thumb drive just in case. I've even used my cellphone and a usb cable to download and copy them in a pinch.
