Bluescreen after shutting down laptop

I recently installed an AMD Radeon Installer where I used it to update my drivers. After the update every time I shut down my laptop I either get a blue screen I cant read or a bluescreen that says  DRIVER_IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL where amdkmpfd.sys failed.

  • Desktop or Laptop System
    • ASUS X55QG
  • Operating System
    • Windows 10 64bit 19042 Build
  • Driver version installed
    • Radeon Software Adrenaline 21.4.1

With laptop APU's you update the APU not the discrete graphics chip. That updates both graphics drivers. The 9620 is a OEM graphics chip and if your laptop is new, it's best to get all updates from Asus support > https://www.asus.com/support/

AMD offers generic drivers. To find the correct driver go to : https://www.amd.com/en/support
