Black Screens on GPU accelerated Applications

I have had an issue that happens after installing new drivers

the issue is, applications that use hardware acceleration, such as discord, steam, zoom, etc. will end up getting black boxes wherever a GPU accelerated part of them is, and some of them stop responding. If there is any way to keep this from happening I would love to know, thanks!

My hardware is AMD Ryzen 5 3550H with Vega 8 Mobile Graphics, and an RX560X GPU

It seems the issue is caused by the image sharpening system (RIS)

Maybe a version of this system for legacy GPU's would be a good thing, maybe not?
