Black screen signal loss on DP cable RX Vega 64, Windows 10 64 Pro, 18.6.1 with event viewer info.

Hi all, I just got a black screen signal loss on 18.6.1 just after closing Google Chrome on the desktop, I only watched a video or two after restarting PC. This can't be a cable issue as have a new cable with the perfect new port on the power supply that was unused and not damaged by the bad cable I had where I posted on the other signal loss thread here​ hence I started a new thread as this is unrelated other that the black screen though and my issue was fixed but others posted on there about ASUS AI suite possibly causing their signal loss which ties it into my issue from from the clues in activity viewer.

The black screen came up about the same time as the following error in Event viewer below. Which is from what the other user said ASUS AI suite. I only have the one section installed from the installer, The four way optimization as I only installed it to control my case fans. I only use the fan control and never touched anything else on the software except the Power saving Formula presets, such as AUTO, HIGH PERFORMANCE, MAX POWER SAVING. I never touched away mode as I don't understand it anyway.

The dip away mode error has always been in the events viewer even going back to Windows 8.1 but there might now be a conflict with it, AMD driver/Windows 10 Pro 64-bit (10.0, Build 17134) (17134.rs4_release.180410-1804).

I only just installed ASUS AI suite again a few weeks ago.

Try this: in the Wattman settings set everything to Dynamic or Automatic.

I had the same problem on any game and for now I solved it this way.

it was pretty random and hasn't happened again, so it happened the once so far. I can game fine for hours. I have been getting a few blue screens lately though.
